Child development & inclusive education · Chiang Mai

Every child has a path. We help you light it.

Assessment, therapy, trained shadow teachers and school placement — coordinated by one team in Chiang Mai.

Lumi the elephant carries a lantern along a path; families, teachers and children, one in a wheelchair, follow behind in the Chiang Mai hills.

For parents

Where do I start?

Most families reach us with one of these questions. Each one starts with a conversation, not a commitment.

  1. 01

“My child was just diagnosed — what now?”

Book a first consultation. We read the reports you already have, arrange any assessment that is still missing, and agree a plan with you before anything else is booked.

    Start with a consultation →
  2. 02

“My child's school asked for a shadow teacher”

We match a trained shadow teacher to your child and agree with the school how support will run in the classroom, so the teacher and the school know what to expect from day one.

  3. 03

“We just moved to Chiang Mai and need everything in English”

Consultations, reports and school coordination are available in English, Thai and Chinese. We can introduce schools that already have an MOU with us.

What we do

Three services, one team

Your child's doctor, therapists, shadow teacher and school talk to each other through us.

A father walks his son, wearing ear defenders, along a path to a school.

Shadow Teacher Matching

A trained shadow teacher supports your child inside a regular classroom at one of our MOU partner schools, with our team behind them.

How shadow teaching works →
A boy with glasses and a hearing aid builds a block tower while a therapist steadies it.

Therapy & Development

Occupational, physio, speech, art & play therapy and psychology, with a doctor on the team. Every therapist is licensed in Thailand.

Training Academy

Courses for shadow teachers and parents: understanding special needs, plus English and language skills for the classroom.

How it works

From the first message to the years ahead

You won't be carrying reports between clinics and school. One coordinator keeps everyone in step.

  1. 1

    Contact

Message us on LINE, by email or through the form. Tell us about your child in your own words.

A parent sends a message on a phone.
  2. 2

    Assessment & consultation

Meet our team. We review existing reports and assess where it is needed.

  3. 3

    School matching

We introduce schools that hold an MOU with BrightPath and can support your child.

A family visits a partner school.
  4. 4

    Shadow teacher support

A trained shadow teacher joins your child in class, with regular check-ins between school, therapists and you.

A shadow teacher sits beside a child in class.
  5. 5

    Long-term pathway

Records are kept year to year, so the next step — a new school, homeschooling or a vocational route — is planned.

A path leading on through the hills.

For schools

Your school can say yes

Many schools want to accept children with special needs but hesitate over staffing and know-how. A partnership MOU with BrightPath gives your classroom a trained shadow teacher and a multidisciplinary team behind them.

School partnership form →

What an MOU partnership includes

  • A trained shadow teacher placed with the student
  • Coordination with the child's doctor and therapists
  • One named BrightPath contact for your staff
  • Training for your teachers through BrightPath Academy
  • Regular progress reviews with the family

Our team

  • Doctor
  • Occupational therapist
  • Physiotherapist
  • Psychologist
  • Speech therapist
  • Art & play therapist

All therapy is done by professionals licensed in Thailand.

Annual membership

A team that knows your child, year after year

Families can join for a year at a time. Membership covers consultations, development tracking and guidance through the year. We keep your child's records over the long term, so if homeschooling or a vocational pathway becomes the right next step, the plan is built on years of notes rather than a single visit.
