About BrightPath

We started BrightPath because parents in Chiang Mai shouldn't have to coordinate their child's care alone.

The BrightPath team, including a doctor and therapists, stands outside a Lanna-style building with children and Lumi the elephant.

For years we watched families in Chiang Mai, Thai and expat alike, run between clinics. A report from one place, a therapy session across town, a school meeting in a third language. Each professional saw one part of the child, and the parents carried everything else.

Schools wanted to help but hesitated to accept children with special needs. They didn't have the staff, and they didn't know who to call when something went wrong. The shadow teachers who did step in usually had no structured training and no one supervising their work.

So we built one coordinated hub: assessment, licensed therapists, trained shadow teachers and partner schools, with one team keeping them in step and one record that follows the child from year to year.

What we believe

  1. 01

Every child has their own path, and the plan should fit the child.

  2. 02

Coordination matters as much as therapy.

  3. 03

    Licensed professionals, always.

  4. 04

We plan for the long term, not just this term.

Meet Lumi

A small elephant with a lantern

Lumi is a baby elephant who carries a Yi Peng lantern, the paper lanterns Chiang Mai lights every November. Lumi doesn't run ahead or pull anyone along. The job is simpler: hold the light up, so the next step on the path is easier to see.

Tell us about your child. We'll take it from there.
